You’ll have the chance to meet one of our team, ask questions, and start to understand the fostering journey and the steps involved. Fostering with your local authority is flexible and rewarding. With over 5,000 children in foster care in Wales and over 1,500 more needing a safe place every year, we’re always looking for people who can make a difference.
You can choose the type of fostering that fits your lifestyle, and we work hard to match you with the right child. You don’t need previous experience, you don’t need to be a parent, and you don’t need to own your home. Whether you’re single, a couple, married or in a civil partnership—there’s a role for you. You can continue working while fostering or foster full time. Whatever you choose, we’ll support you every step of the way.
